Claims Operations Oversight Director
Our partners at Conifer Health Solutions are looking for a strategic leader that can direct and oversee the Claims Department and assigned Claims staff to provide leadership with direction to ensure services are delivered accurately, timely, and in accordance to contractual and regulatory requirements to client(s). This position will be located in the Canopy Health Headquarters in Emeryville, CA.
Clinical Program Coordinator
The primary focus of the Clinical Program Coordinator is to work in collaboration with Canopy Health’s internal teams and external customers to enhance the day to day operations of the Transitions of Care Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, at least 2 years’ experience working in a health plan, medical groups, hospital or clinical care setting, and knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA rules and regulations.
The primary focus of the Compliance Manager is to implement and administer programs, policies, procedures, and practices to ensure that Canopy Health complies with federal, state, and local health care regulations and NCQA standards. In addition, this role also supports internal and external audits, prepares reports, responds to inquiries from stakeholders, including the DMHC and parent plan partners, facilitates the resolution of corrective action plans, and communicates findings to internal Committees and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong organizational, analytic, and strategic-thinking skills and at least 5-7 years of experience working in the managed care field for the provider (Medical Group), payer (Health Plan), and have experience in healthcare compliance and with regulators like DMHC and CMS.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
Canopy Health is looking for a Chief Medical Officer who will be accountable for the development, implementation, and ongoing management of Canopy’s clinical programs and clinical infrastructure. S/he will have direct oversight over medical management, care management, health information technology, and compliance. This is a visible and strategic position that will play a key role in the development, oversight, and implementation of medical strategies and plans for the Corporation. Experience in California or in a similarly mature managed care market characterized by capitated or other risk sharing contracts involving hospitals and medical groups/IPAs is required, as is an active Medical License in the State of California at the time of employment.
