Canopy Health is pleased to announce the addition of the HIV Clinic at Ward 86 to the Canopy Health network effective June 1, 2022. Located on the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital campus (ZSFG), the Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) at the HIV Clinic at Ward 86 will be part of Hill Physicians Medical Group for the Canopy Health network. The Ward 86 Clinic is a UCSF-run HIV clinic – the first of its kind in the United States – providing care for patients with HIV within the San Francisco Bay Area. Today, it provides patients access to world-renowned experts in the field of HIV, clinical innovation, and evidence-informed medical services.
The Ward 86 Care model is centered around providing compassionate medical and psychosocial services for all patients while co-locating services and programming onsite for ease of access and comprehensive care delivery under one roof.
Embedded Specialty Care Services offered include cardiology, pulmonology, dermatology, geriatrics, anal dysplasia, hepatitis C treatment, gynecology, and behavioral health.
Canopy Health Members can access the Ward 86 clinic by contacting the clinic (Email (Ward86referrals@UCSF.edu) or by calling (628) 206-2430) to establish themselves as a new patient with one of the following Hill Physicians Medical Group PCPs practicing at Ward 86:

Once established as a Ward 86 Clinic patient, Canopy Health members must call their health plan—either Health Net or UnitedHealthcare (number listed on the back of the member’s ID card) — to request to be assigned to one of the above Hill Physicians Medical Group PCPs.
