These tools will give you even greater access to the Canopy Health network, allow you to preview costs before receiving services and procedures, and empower you to schedule Video Visits with top Canopy Health clinicians.

These new digital platforms are full of helpful resources and features that are simple to use and make the healthcare experience more manageable. Every element was created with you in mind, which means the mobile app and portal focus on more convenient and transparent access to care, improving health literacy, and encouraging preventive care and wellness initiatives.

The MyCanopyHealth Mobile App and Member Portal Include Helpful Healthcare Features

To become a Canopy Health member, ask your employer if your company offers any of these three health plans available through our carrier partners. Choose the plan that best fits you and your dependents, and select your new primary care physician (PCP). Once you’ve taken care of that, you can seek treatment with your Canopy Health PCP and request referral care to respected specialists from all of the medical groups within our alliance.

And now, Canopy Health is taking the healthcare experience to new heights with the launch of the MyCanopyHealth mobile app and member portal, which give you access to many helpful tools, including the following.

Doctors and Services: When you’re searching for the best primary care physicians, hospitals, and urgent care centers to fit your family’s unique needs, you can use the “Doctors and Services” feature to identify the best providers. This tool also includes extra details about clinicians and facilities within the Canopy Health alliance, including languages spoken, contact information, which medical groups providers belong to, and whether a physician is currently accepting new patients.

Virtual ID Card: If you are visiting a physician or facility in-person and forget to bring your Canopy Health Member ID or if you just can’t find it, you can pull up the MyCanopyHealth mobile app on your phone to access your Virtual ID Card. These cards are valid wherever you seek treatment within the Canopy Health alliance, including Video Visits.

Benefits Summary: Even though we partner with trusted health plans that do their best to simplify the language and structure of your coverage, understanding these plans can be difficult for many individuals. Thankfully, you can access and understand the pertinent details of your coverage at your convenience through the MyCanopyHealth mobile app or member portal.

Video Visits: If you or one of your dependents are dealing with a seemingly minor health issue (like a sore throat, fever, or twisted ankle), you can video conference with a skilled provider directly through the MyCanopyHealth mobile app or member portal. You can enter your symptoms and even upload photographs to help the clinician diagnose your condition and make a recommendation for next steps. Summaries of these visits are automatically shared with your primary care physicians and logged in your MyCanopyHealth mobile app and member portal dashboards.

Cost Estimator (Beta Version): Depending on your ailment, your primary care physician or specialist might recommend a shoppable treatment method, such as an MRI or knee arthroscopy. Using the Cost Estimator tool, you can view an aggregate range of costs, your specific plan benefits, and even your accumulated annual costs to date. This sort of cost transparency allows members to take control of how, when, where, why, and with whom they choose to seek treatment.

Deductible/OOP Accumulator: You probably want to know your out-of-pocket-costs and track how much you’ve spent toward your deductible. To do so, log into the MyCanopyHealth mobile app or member portal to select the service or treatment prescribed and determine if the cost exceeds your deductible. This way, you can make an informed choice about whether you can afford the treatment and play a more active role in your care plan.
